Organizer

Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good has two full time positions for organizers in Ohio and one in St. Louis. Organizers would be expected to work with Catholic lay leaders and religious to build teams of people in St. Louis or the State of Ohio who will work with the Alliance to promote the common good in this election cycle and beyond. The work would include organizing meetings, events and actions around common good issues and doing GOTV in under-served areas. This is a 9 month position through Nov. 2008. Possible permanent position based on performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree and some (volunteer or professional) community organizing experience. Work would be located in Ohio or St. Louis under the supervision of the National Field Director. Must be available for at least part time work in March/April and full time May through November 2008. Reliable transportation is a must. Health Insurance and travel expenses covered during the period of employment.
