Tom Greene, SJ, Research Fellow, Jesuit Social Research Institute (JSRI), Loyola University, New Orleans

An expert on Immigration, Fr. Greene is a lawyer and advocate for comprehensive immigration reform. He is currently a research fellow at the Jesuit Social Research Institute at Loyola University in New Orleans, where he is also a visiting professor.
Prior to entering the Jesuits, Fr. Greene worked in New Orleans as an assistant district attorney. As the chair of the Jesuit province’s immigration task force, Fr. Greene is a frequent speaker on immigration issues and has lectured in the United States and Latin America. He has worked with the Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) in Southern Africa and the Jesuit Migration Service in Central America, and continues to participate in their work through research and consultation.
