Other Social Justice Organizations
Catholics in Alliance works with dozens of other organizations that support the Common Good. The following is a list of organizations that work to promote the Common Good and social justice in a variety of ways:
- The Beatitudes Society - Strengthening the progressive Christian network for justice, compassion, & peace
- Center of Concern - a Catholic organization working in collaboration with interfaith networks to challenge structural injustice and promote innovative economic alternatives through analysis, education, advocacy, and capacity building
- Franciscan Action Network - Working to transform the world in the spirit of St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi
- Franciscan Mission Service - Building Global Community
- National Advocacy Center of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd - promotes awareness and action among the Good Shepherd people including women religious and the agencies they work with about social justice issues such as poverty, health care, peace, education, and immigration
- NETWORK - A National Catholic Social Justice Lobby that educates, organizes and lobbies for economic and social transformation
- Pax Christi USA - The National Catholic Peace Movement
- Pax Romana/Catholic Movement for Intellectual and Cultural Affairs - Catholic Social Teaching for the New Globalization
- PICO National Network - A national network of faith-based community organizations working to create innovative solutions to problems facing urban, suburban and rural communities
- Provoke Radio - Each Provoke radio show highlights those individuals and organizations who work tirelessly on behalf of the poor and marginalized, peace and justice - and in so doing, make a difference in the world.
- Sojourners - Sojourners' mission is to articulate the biblical call to social justice, inspiring hope and building a movement to transform individuals, communities, the church, and the world.
- Sisters of Mercy of the Americas - an international community of women religious vowed to serve people who suffer from poverty, sickness and lack of education with a special concern for women and children.
